| Comment: Have lived in Dallas since 1985 prior to thar moved from Detroit to Los Angeles, then to Chicago, on to Miami Fl., New York and then back to Detroit from 79-85 when I settled in Dallas Tx. I will have been with ABC-TV for 38 years this coming January 2012. My job covers nine states selling commercial time on the eight ABC owned TV stations. I also represent Sports Cable Networks and selected Pro Franchises along with a host of Digital properties including 50,000 Sq. feet of signage in Times Square, the 7 Eleven Digital Network and others. I married my wife Sandi in 1995. She is an Interior Architect and owns her own business. Look forward to the 50th in 2013. | |

Vance died on September 16, 2017, in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Here is the bio he wrote a few years ago. His obit is posted under the Photo Albums tab.
I did my undergrad at The Virginia Military Institute and graduated in '67 with a B.A. In English Lit. I was commissioned a 2'nd Liutenant in the Medical Service Corps and after Airborne and Green Beret training went to Viet Nam for two years. After Viet Nam I went to graduate school for two years and then was asccepted to medical school in Philadelphia. I did my internship and residency in OB/GYN at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Mi where I subsequesntly went into practice and also accepted a job as director of Medical Education/Chief Academic Officer which is where I've been ever since!. I have two children, three if you count my father who is 101 and lives with us, three step-children, and two grandchildren. My wife is a Medical Assistant and comes from a large family so we have plenty of neices and nephews to keep us busy as well. |

I've lived in Boulder since 1970 almost nonstop, working as journalist, magazine publisher and media industry analyst. Married 30 years in 2013, lived in same house 25 years. Worked at DamilerChrysler for several Executive VPs and part time for the CEO. I took an early retirement and then worked the last five years for American Sun Roof (Heinz Prechter company) as Assistant to the CEO. I enjoy traveling, golfing, gardening, and sewing. Currently, I'm a member of the Belle Isle Women's Committee. We are working on returning the jewel to it's original beauty. . . and that's a big job! | |

What a great web site! Paul and Jackie have been amazing organizers over the years. After graduating from Grinnell College, I became an Appalachian Volunteer and then a VISTA in West Virginia. I worked as a teacher and childbirth educator before getting a Masters in Counseling. I worked briefly in a mental health clinic and on a psych ward in a hospital before taking a job as an elementary school counselor. I retired after many years in 2010, but continue to do some work in the schools. Since retirement, my husband Bob and I have been doing a lot of traveling. |

Life has been an adventure since high school. I have traveled more and done a lot of interesting work that I did not expect to do. I wrote two books, learned two languages, had two husbands (at separate times, of course) and had two children. I guess two was a magic number for me. It's such a treat now that I have two daughters who graduated from high school, to tell them about my memories of being that same age. I tell all the tales of mischief by Mary Lou Nigro and Linda DeMario (ask them about those keys they sent in a plain manilla envelope) as well as the hilarious story of how Gary Spade got his buddies to put the "We give green stamps" sign in front of Peters' Funeral Home (in junior high). Anyway, my two girls cannot believe what juvenile delinquents we all were in growing up.� |
