Comment:
I adored GPHS, especially my friends. As a newcomer I was so warmly welcomed. And I am so grateful for the wonderful teachers who gave us such great academic backgrounds. I so loved the teams and our team spirit. At Wheaton College in MA I majored in economics and dabbled quite a bit in politics, including a summer on Capitol Hill. Then, it was onto Northwestern Law School in Chicago. At the bar review course in MA I fell in love with Terry and, as of this month we have been married 50 years. I worked in a Boston law firm, in the office of Senator Edward Brooke, then spent 5 years as an Assistant US Attorney for MA. After birth of my son, I worked part-time as an administrative law judge for the Division of Law Appeals for 25 years. I served on the Judicial Nominating Commission in MA which nominates judges for the governor's selection. In retirement my best job ever has been hanging out with my three grands, dreaming up crazy adventures for them and chauffeuring them to lessons I also head the CareTeam at my church, where we visit, bring meals and flowers, send cards and stage Pop-up Birthdays for the elderly (older than we are) and vulnerable. Once a week I enjoy a French book group We live by the sea in Gloucester MA. My husband was a real estate lawyer and Land Court Judge. Now he is a law school professor, mediator and directs a musical annually. He keeps us hopping! I am so very grateful to Pres for Life Paul and lovely Jackie for all they have done over all the years, including for the 60th. Looking so forward to seeing everyone! |
